GOLDEN SKATE OF MIND // GOSKATE
[STUDENT WORK / CONCEPT]
Skateboarding is the central idea of this project. The square brochure highlights the Washington St. Skate Park, the first on the west coast. The overall guide discusses skateboarding history, trivia, and parts of the skateboard. The final addition is the GoSkate app where users can see skateboarding-related events in San Diego, share achievements and ask questions to other users, and find tutorials and skate films to watch.

Photography guided the research in this project, with an emphasis on a black and white aesthetic. Bright analogous colors were chosen for a simple palette.

The project includes a square brochure, rectangular brochure, and app prototype.
